Fashion consultant David Shah has outlined the swimwear and lingerie trends for SS15, which will be presented at MarediModa, the Fabrics Festival in November.
The Amsterdam-based publisher and his View Team will define six fashion trends at the event, to take place in Cannes from 5-7 November.
Beach and swim trends include Hollywood Pool, a glamorous look, which will feature shimmering metallic shades, shiny jacquard woven designs embellished with rhinestones, vintage floral and animal prints, and hourglass silhouettes.
The Art Colony beach and swimwear trend is young and playful, with 3D Pop Art designs, combined with laser cutting, matt fabrics and florescent colours.

The Vintage Beach trend will feature sunburned colours, dry cotton looks or scarf-like flowing silk, faded denim fabrics, Mediterranean and ethnic prints and silhouettes that celebrate dance rhythms of the samba, with gathers, ruffles and circle skirts.
Atlantis styles will feature fabrics that “drape over the body like seaweed”, such as transparent voiles and refined mesh. Patterns will recreate underwater worlds, with fish scales, scallops and corals, while colours include oceanic blue and pale gold.
Lingerie trends include Fantasia, a seductive look which features polished satins, plush velours and flocks, mixed with prints of surreal scenes and fantasy landscapes and seductive reds, with rich, metallic copper and silver glints and gleams.
The Montmartre trend, meanwhile, focuses on Toulouse Lautrec’s Montmartre, the bohemian area of Paris, with nostalgic fabrics, detailed embroidery and a palette of softened mauves, rose pink, skin tones and hot coral.
