Italian lingerie label La Perla has launched its SS14 campaign starring Cara Delevigne and fellow supermodels Malgosia Bela and Liu Wen.
In her first lingerie campaign, Delevigne wears the brand’s Sparkling Jasmine black lace bra and matching knickers and, in another shot, an underwired white swimsuit featuring a striped mesh front and cut-out back.
Chinese model Wen was photographed wearing model the collection’s transparent Paisley body, while Bela, from Poland, wears La Perla’s Heritage bustier.
The campaign was captured by photographers Mart Alas and Marcus Piggot – the duo behind Lada Gaga’s Versace campaign – and under the artistic direction of Fabien Baron.
The launch comes five months after SMS Finance, the holding company of entrepreneur Silvio Scaglia, acquired La Perla, beating out stocking and sock specialist Calzedonia and other suitors.
La Perla is now rationalising its brand strategy.
